Spotlight Series | February 2026

February is American Heart Month, but for Black communities, heart health is not seasonal — it is shaped daily by access, policy, prevention, and lived experience.

If you read our earlier KMOB1003 Intelligence | February 2026 Preview, this Spotlight announcement represents the next step—moving from risk intelligence and context into leadership, lived experience, and action.

In February 2026, KMOB1003 Global Media will debut its first-ever Spotlight Series, a focused, mission-driven podcast initiative designed to slow the narrative, replace fear with clarity, and elevate prevention as a cultural priority. This series is hosted by Pamela F. Nichols, President & CEO of KMOB1003 Global Media.

The guests in this series are Dr. Anthony Fletcher, MD, FACC, FAHA, FSCAI, President of the Association of Black Cardiologists, and Dr. Sandra B. Nichols, MD, FAAFP, MHCDS, MS, Founder & CEO of The Samaritan Health Project™ and a heart transplant survivor—uniting clinical authority, executive leadership, and lived experience in one shared space.

“Health is infrastructure.

Attention is policy.

Prevention is power.”

A Spotlight Series with Purpose

This Spotlight Series was created to confront one of the most urgent public health realities of our time: the disproportionate burden of cardiovascular disease in Black communities. Rather than repeating surface-level awareness, the series centers trusted leadership and real-world insight to examine why outcomes differ — and what must change to reverse them.

Across four weeks, conversations will focus on cardiovascular prevention and equity, hypertension and metabolic disease, systemic stress, and the role of prevention as agency and power. These discussions are designed for patients, healthcare professionals, advocates, and institutions seeking clarity in a system that often responds too late.
