“I sincerely apologize for the abrupt end to last night’s performance in Chicago. After weeks of nonstop rehearsals, I experienced dehydration and feelings of wanting to faint. Everyone involved agreed that prioritizing my well-being was of the utmost importance,” Brandy explained.
She tried to return to the stage but could not connect with the show’s technical demands. Monica stepped up to complete the set solo, and fans left without hearing their defining hit “The Boy Is Mine.”
According to Billboard, the tour marks the duo’s first major co-headlining run in over 20 years.
